Dr. Li Nguyen was born and raised in Vietnam, and migrated to the US in 1975, at the age of 14. Without knowing any English, Dr. Li Nguyen skipped High School, and went straight to College, Cal Poly Pomona, at the age of 16. Dr. Li Nguyen finished College at the age of 19, with Bachelor Degrees in Biology and Chemistry. Dr. Li Nguyen then began Medical School at UCLA, at the age of 20, graduating at the top of his class, and became a Doctor at the age of 24. Dr. Li Nguyen completed 6 years of Residency in ENT/Head & Neck Surgery at UCLA.
After Residency, Dr. Li Nguyen started private practice in General Otolaryngology in Westminster California, and has been in practice for the past 30 years.
 
Dr. Li Nguyen has done research and published in several Journal articles on Reinnervation of Recurrent Laryngeal Nerve, during his residency. Also, during his private practice, Dr. Li Nguyen has done research and published several Journal articles on his 3 Patented Medical devices : US6,950,025B1 - Motion Analysis Injury Limited Inactivator US11,721,673 - Automatic Intradermal Injector System US60,974,536 - Automatic Subdermal Injector System .
 
Dr. Li Nguyen practices is not just limited to General Otolaryngology, and Head & Neck Surgery, such as all the Ear, Nose, Sinus and Throat diseases, but also include Facial Pastic Surgery, such as Rhytidectomy, Blepharoplasty, and Rhinoplasty, as well as General Plastic Surgery, such as Breast Augmentation, Abdominoplasty, Liposuction etc. Dr. Li Nguyen practice also has his own Surgery Center at Mile Square Surgery Center, which carries all the latest advanced equipment for General Anesthesia, as well as Laser.
